Rail Creek Park has been years in the making. Situated on 170 acres in western Shawnee, the parkland is already home to Donderdag! Youth Cycling with the Clear Creek and Mill Creek trails passing right through it. Rail Creek Park will be a remarkable addition to the Valley of Champions, and could soon be hosting championship races and events of its own.

City officials, community advocates and design consultants are hard at work exploring the options and creating a plan for the future that builds a park for the people, continues to build Shawnee’s reputation as a recreation destination, and draws crowds that help local business thrive all year.
